The textbook examines the history of the study of verbal phraseological units in the Kazakh language, their relationship with words, phrases, complex words, lexical composition and functional character, morphological composition and syntactic function. Semantic categories of verbal phraseological units are defined, thematic and semantic groups of verbal phraseological units are indicated.
Control questions and test tasks are given for students. The manual is intended for students of philological faculties of higher educational institutions.
