The textbook “History of modern Kazakhstan” is written in accordance with the approximate curriculum. The textbook contains the main topics on traditional and credit learning systems used in universities. The lecture courses will highlight the main historical events that have occurred on the territory of Kazakhstan since the completion of the strengthening of the Kazakh people as a state-forming ethnic group and the establishment of the Kazakh Khanate as one of the main prerequisites for the formation of national statehood to the present day. Since the main chapter of the educational material is devoted to the study of topical issues of the modern history of the republic, the study of each historical process is carried out in close combination with the socio-spiritual life of independent Kazakhstan.
At the end of each lecture, control questions are given. A list of basic and additional literature is provided at the end of the textbook.
In addition to the course of lectures, the textbook provides assignments for seminars and independent work of students, as well as an explanatory glossary.
