One of the most important tasks in the system of professional training of students, undergraduates and doctoral students – future teachers at the university is the formation of their ability to master the scientific and theoretical foundations and methods of teaching mathematics in elementary school. The proposed educational and methodological manual describes in detail the psychological and pedagogical foundations for the development of cognitive interest of students in the process of teaching mathematics in elementary school at a university.
