The textbook is an integral part of the history of the ancient world. The textbook examines the history of the ancient countries of the East. The materials presented in the textbook include the history of the socio-economic and political development of the states of Egypt, Babylon, Kozozhen, China, India, Transcaucasia, the Eastern and Western Mediterranean, Central Asia and Persia, formed in the East in ancient times. Attention is paid to the history of research in some ancient Eastern countries.
The content of the textbook is written in accordance with the standard curriculum of the subject “History of the Ancient World”, approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2001.
