The 2nd volume of the anthology of steppe folklore included samples of the collection of poems “forty heroes of the Crimea”, recorded in 1939-1948, performed by the famous zhyrshyn Zhyrau Sengirbekovich. This epic cycle artistically tells about the major events in the history of the Golden Horde and the Turkic states that arose in its place in the XIV-XVIII centuries.
