The manual is compiled according to the updated educational program. The program for students of grades 8 of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School is a textbook containing all the learning goals provided by the program. However, the task package can also be used by students of secondary schools, colleges and universities. The tasks consist of two parts. Section A contains short answer tasks, i.e. tests with four correct answers, and section B contains a series of open-ended questions for students. Section A and section B get a layered look. Attention is also paid to the development of students’ skills in working on graphs, tables and diagrams. A high level of thinking, the skill of forecasting, comparison, analysis and synthesis is also manifested in tasks. The goals of learning numerical reports also did not go unnoticed. There are types of reports that are displayed using graphs, charts, and tables other than traditional ones.
