Abdrasilova G.S. Основы региональной архитектуры Казахстана: Monograph – Almaty, Publishing house “Aknur”, 2018 – 265 p.
The problems of the originality of the architectural and urban planning environment are becoming particularly relevant in Kazakhstan: a huge territory, uneven settlement, a variety of geographical conditions require a differentiated approach to solving problems in different climatic zones. At the same time, factors affecting the current state of the regional habitat generate environmental and urban development problems, reducing the quality of life of the population. In order to form a full-fledged regional environment, it is necessary to determine the directions of regulated architectural and urban planning transformations, taking into account local peculiarities.
In the monograph, the environment is considered in the unity of all taxonomic levels – from regional settlement to architectural structures. The main features of regional architecture and urban planning in Kazakhstan are identified and the trends of their development are determined.
The monograph is intended for architects, students of the specialties “Architecture” and “Design”, as well as anyone interested in the problems of architecture in Kazakhstan.
