State environmental control is carried out by the environmental inspection services of the central authorized body in the field of environmental protection and its territorial divisions. An analysis of the inspectors’ work shows that the inspectors’ insufficient theoretical knowledge of the basics of environmental science, as well as poor training in environmental law, do not contribute to the adoption of effective measures to solve specific environmental problems.
The textbook is recommended to teachers, doctoral students, undergraduates and undergraduates of the specialties ecology, biology, chemistry, engaged in research work, as well as to a wide range of people who are interested in environmental protection and the rational use of natural resources.
