The textbook discusses the basic concepts of chemistry, namely atomic and molecular theory, the structure of the atom, the periodic law of D. I. Mendeleev and the periodic system of elements, types of chemical bonds and reaction rate, as well as the theory of the main classes of inorganic compounds, questions and tasks for approval on each topic are given.
The proposed educational and methodological manual is intended for in-depth mastering of the materials passed in the theoretical chemistry course, as an auxiliary means of teaching college students and non-chemical specialties.
