LEXIQAMUS

 LexiQamus — It is a linguistic analysis tool developed specifically for the analysis of the Ottoman Turkish language and first published on June 7, 2016. It has the following main functions:

  • He deciphers words that are difficult to read for various reasons,
  • It finds the right word, even if the user made a mistake during the search,
  • It shows definitions of words from several dictionaries,
  • It reveals hidden meanings that are even unknown to the authors,
  • It provides access to various spellings of the word, which even the Ottoman intellectuals may not have known about.

Thanks to all these features, LexiQamus has quickly gained the support of many reputable institutions in Turkey and around the world.
As part of the project, dictionaries are digitized flawlessly and in detail, and the search algorithm is constantly being improved.
