About the project
The Znanium electronic library system is an information and educational environment for colleges, universities and libraries.
EBS Znanium provides paid services for providing online access to a large collection of educational and scientific literature, as well as has an array of information in the public domain.
The project has been developing since 2011. The leading educational institutions in Russia are building the educational process based on the Znanium EBS content. The EBS has collections of electronic versions of books, magazines, and articles, grouped by subject and target criteria.
The mission of the project
- The objective of the project is to provide online access to educational and scientific information.
- We have created a modern electronic platform for using information in a real legal field, protecting our intellectual rights while respecting the rights of other participants in the information space.
- We are creating new electronic editions based on the experience gained in the production of traditional paper editions. Thousands of teachers, scientists and specialists work with us. Our readers study in hundreds of educational institutions across the country. We participate in the formation of the professional information space.
Project audience
We take into account the interests of all our readers and, depending on what they need, we offer:
- Educational institutions and colleges — a selection of professional and educational literature for a wide variety of professions;

System execution
The software is distributed as an Internet service, and no special steps are required to install the software on the user’s side.
