On March 11, 2026, a presentation of the textbook \u201cModern History of the Countries of Asia and Africa\u201d as well as the document collection \u201cAdministrative Structures for Governing Kazakhs in Western Siberia (late 18th\u201319th centuries)\u201d was held at the library of the Faculty of History and Geography of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov.<\/p>\n

The presentation of the textbook, recommended for publication with the approval of the Educational and Methodological Association \u201cPedagogical Sciences\u201d under Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, was conducted by 3rd-year students of the History educational program. This was due to the fact that the textbook had been tested during their studies in the first semester. The students particularly emphasized the importance of publishing this textbook in the Kazakh language. Its comprehensiveness, wide range of sources, and historiographical basis allowed them to take a new approach to studying historical processes. During the course, the students noted a significant shift in stereotypical perceptions, emphasizing that history is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon, and that it can be viewed as a \u201cliving organism,\u201d introducing them to concepts such as the state, civilization, the formation approach, and stereotypes.<\/p>\n

Along with the textbook, the library fund of the faculty received the document collection \u201cAdministrative Structures for Governing Kazakhs in Western Siberia (late 18th\u201319th centuries),\u201d prepared within the framework of a scientific project funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (AP 23489137), in which the author is an executive member. This collection contains archival documents and materials on the history of the implementation of the Russian administrative-territorial governance system in Western Siberia in the 19th century. The documents were collected from the archives of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The publication is of significant interest to anyone interested in the history of Kazakhstan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
