World of rare books
In support of the state program “Cultural heritage” initiated by the president Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev we have begun selection from fund rare and valuable books. Rather, the fund is small (506 pieces). But this property of our university which to us is entrusted to keep, increase also the most important, to use in scientific and educational activity of the university. There are rare books according to which students are engaged in the reading room.
Still the fund of rare books is studied, gathers and entered into base of the electronic catalog (the column rare books in this base is available).Selection criteria of literature we have chosen such:
- Books XIX beginning of the XX century;
- Earlier published (30, 40, 50 years);
- The books of the period of the Great Patriotic War (published from June, 1941 to May, 1945);
- Facsimile and reprint editions;
- Books with autographs;
- Book miniatures;
- Lifetime edition.
